Over the course of your Metahunter journey, your team of Metapets will be able to level up their skills and the special abilities that they provide to you. Having a Metapet early will help those taking advantage of the pre-sales to begin powering up their teams as soon as possible.
Terrain Chests
The Metahunter map has five separate continents as well as a floating city in the center, which is the base for all Metahunters to get started. However, once they have a Metapet and are ready to head out into the world, members will find themselves with different options depending on which continents they explore.
The Metahunter World is made up of different terrain types. Each type offers members a chance to farm resources from that terrain. Each type of resource can help Metahunters on their journey to develop their land or level up their Metapet team. Additionally, each terrain type can have certain buildings placed on them. Because of this, Metahunters will probably need a few different terrain types so they have the advantage of variety when it comes to resources and buildings they will need.
There are currently four different types of land crates being offered: Woodlands, Desert, Iceland, and Mystical. Each of these crates includes one of the designated terrain types on the first continent: The Promised Land. Each crate type is offered in different quantities, with Mystical being the rarest. It also offers the most types of buildings available of all of the terrain types, so it is a handy investment.
